Mt. Vernon Square/Convention Center
Walk west through the Convention Center tunnel on M Street, approximately 3 blocks. Turn right onto 11th Street. We are located about halfway up the block on the left side. Total walking distance is approximately .5 miles.
McPherson Square
Take the 14th and I Streets exit out of the Metro. Walk east on I Street to 11th Street and then north on 11th. We are located about halfway between M and N Streets on the left side. Total walking distance is approximately .5 miles.
Metro Center
Get out at the 11th and G Streets exit and walk north. Rachael's is about halfway between M and N Streets. Total walking distance is approximately .75 miles. Parking
There is two-hour parking along the street, but it can be difficult to find a space on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons during street sweeping. There is also a lot on the corner of 11th and M Street that charges $8 for the day.
- Does Rachael's accept clothing donations?
Unfortunately, due to lack of storage space, we are unable to accept clothing. If you are interested in donating other items, please see our Wishlist page.
- If I donate money, will I get a receipt for tax purposes?
Yes. We will mail a letter to you detailing your donation.
